I see no recent activity on the Clinton Co site. Is there any leasing/drilling activity in Clinton Co? Have the wells drilled there been productive or have the drilling companies pulled out?

In January of this year, I received an offer of $2000/mineral acre for 50% of the O&G rights of my mother's property I am overseeing. The company was Griffith Land Services, Inc. from Houston. They didn't return my call and I subsequently ignored their letter. I work in the energy sector and understand and expect non traditional forms of natural gas to become very desirable in the future and am curious if there is any new activity in the area beyond the one I've just described.

NEXT Energy, LLC is a small company trying to lease land in the Marcellus shale. Read their contract VERY carefully- the contract they gave us was to actually SELL your mineral rights. NOT lease. If you sell your mineral rights to the wrong people/group, you are out of luck for a long, long time. They don't even have a website?! Use caution, a lot of smaller "companies" came out of the woodwork to try and get their hand in the business the Marcellus will obviously continue to offer. My personal recommendation, focus on working with the larger, more reputable companies that have been around the block, several times.

Yes, Anadarko has moved a rig through Hyner up too their site in Grugan twp. They ran over my uncles mail box in the process, lol. Good to see you in the group. rob

Anybody seeing annnnnny activity in Clinton county? I've heard Andarko has some things going on. Rumors or truth?
