Comment by Mmmarkkk on February 12, 2010 at 8:58am - This forced pooling/integration law is a very bad law. Other states (such as Louisiana) have much better forced pooling laws that treat unleased mineral owners in much better ways. One BIG difference is in Louisiana, the unleased mineral owner (non-participating in NY language) is not exposed to third party claims/liabilities.
